Direct-to-Consumer Commerce Platform
Storefront, checkout and back office for a handcrafted wellness brand — built as one system rather than a hosted store plus plugins
What they needed
Small D2C brands usually start on a hosted storefront and then discover its edges: the discount logic they want is not supported, invoices need a plugin, the blog lives on another platform, and every customisation is a fight with someone else's templating system. Meanwhile the operational half of the business — fulfilling orders, issuing invoices, answering customers, tracking what actually sells — ends up spread across an admin panel, a spreadsheet and an inbox.
What we built
We built storefront and back office as one application. Customers browse by category, view products, manage a cart, check out through Razorpay, and keep their own account with saved addresses and full order history. The team gets an admin covering products, categories, orders, invoices, customers, coupons, offers, banners and reviews, plus a built-in blog with a rich-text editor so content does not need a second platform. Auth and data run on Supabase, sales are charted with Recharts, and a health endpoint keeps the deployment observable. Because it is one codebase, a new discount rule or a change to the invoice layout is a code change — not a search for a plugin that almost fits.
