WhatsApp Business API Engagement Systems
Template messaging, automation and two-way conversations on the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API
What they needed
WhatsApp is the highest-engagement channel available to an Indian business and the least forgiving to build on. Messages outside a 24-hour window must use templates pre-approved by Meta, each with strictly positional parameters. A malformed payload is rejected, and a wrong one reaches a real customer with their name in the wrong slot. Delivery is asynchronous and webhook-driven, so failures are silent unless something is watching. The result is that teams either avoid the channel or send blind and find out later.
What we built
We built tooling that makes the channel safe to work with: templates are pulled directly from the Meta Graph API, parameters are filled through forms generated from each template definition, and the exact outbound payload is previewed before anything sends. Test messages go to a controlled number first, and an inbound webhook receives and displays replies so two-way flows can be verified end to end rather than assumed. That foundation carries into production systems — in one deployment it drives class reminders, payment reminders, campaigns, auto-responders, referrals and streak tracking, all fired from the same operational data rather than a separate marketing list.
